Arthritic Fitness
(ADULT AQUATICS)

FREE with Full-facility memberships! Get moving again and feel better, more limber! Water is a safe, ideal environment for relieving arthritis pain and stiffness. Let the magic of water sooth your body aches while enjoying yourself. The Arthritis Foundation recommends water exercise because it allows you to exercise without the excess strain on your joints and muscles.

Adult Swim Clinics and Classes (1 Hour)
(ADULT AQUATICS)

With a 1:10 ratio every Friday our trained instructors go over various topics for adult swimmers. These sessions include rotary breathing, the four competitive strokes, flip turns, and more. Sign up early to save your spot!

Adult Water Fitness
(ADULT AQUATICS)

FREE with Full-facility memberships! Researchers say that working out with a group increases your chance of taking off weight, keeping it off, and staying fit. Join us for a focused cardiovascular fitness program that helps you tone, shape, and strengthen muscles. You will build up endurance, burn off unwanted pounds, make exercise buddies, and have FUN! Class is held in both deep and shallow water.

Dance Programs

Adult Ballet & Tap
(ADULT DANCE)

This class is for all adults interested in the art of ballet. Cecchetti-style ballet, stretching, and balancing exercises will be taught with individualized attention. All fitness levels and ballet experience welcome.

Tappy Feet are Happy Feet!
(ADULT DANCE)

Adult

Tappy Feet is a technique class for beginner to intermediate dancers – no previous tap experience necessary! We focus on building a basic tap vocabulary and improving performance skills through center floor combinations. A great way to keep in shape and have fun!

Fitness Programs

Silver Sneakers 1
(ADULT FITNESS)

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of motion and activity for daily-living skills. Hand-held weights, balls and tubing with handles are used for resistance plus chairs are used for seated and/or standing support.

Tappy Feet are Happy Feet!

Whatever your age, goals or fitness level, our trainers are skilled in designing a personalized exercise routine that meets your individual needs and helps you gain confidence. Fitness Evaluations
(ADULT FITNESS)

At no cost to our Full-Facility members, the Princeton Family YMCA offers Fitness Evaluations for those who would like to know how they compare according to their age and sex. This is a great opportunity to evaluate your strengths and weaknesses as far as Aerobic Capacity, Body Fat, Flexibility, Strength and Endurance. Adult “4 on 4” Basketball League
(ADULT SPORTS)

• 10 regular-season games plus a playoff format

• A & B divisions – depending on number of teams

• Thursday night games at the Hun School of Princeton

• Team trophy and traveling trophy for league playoff champions

• Fair play and good sportsmanship for all players is mandatory and STRICTLY ENFORCED!
