Welcome to Olivia's Wellness Connection (OWC) at the YMCA!

Gail Everett

Gail Olivia White-Everett welcomes you to Olivia's Wellness Connection at the Y. Gail started her mission-driven organization in order to "spread the gospel of Wellness by motivating and educating people from all walks of life, and to make their health a priority in their lives."  She is delighted to partner with the YMCA to spread the word and expand participation in her program.  Having founded OWC in memory of her late mother who passed away much too early in her life, Gail feels strongly that if she can convince one person to live a healthy lifestyle, her mother's death will not have been in vain.

A great motivator and your personal cheerleader, Gail will make sure that you feel supported and cared for in your efforts to achieve your wellness goals.  She will work with you to learn the basics of healthy eating, exercise regimens, and how to stay on track.  

Gail has certifications in weight management, personal training, Pilates, pre/post natal, older adults, aerobics and bender ball.

Olivia's Wellness Connection Programs

Dr. Oz's Transformation Nation with OWC

Gail Olivia Everett of Olivia's Wellness Connection at the Y invites you to participate in an exciting nationwide effort to get healthy, called Dr. Oz's "Transformation Nation". Sponsored by Dr. Oz and Weight Watchers, the "Transformation Nation: Million Dollar You" program has 7 easy steps and lasts for about 12 weeks.  You may even win a million dollars! A contest winner will be picked on May 12, 2012. 

Starting this January, Gail will host a regular free weekly group meeting at the Y to provide support and encouragement for Transformation Nation participants, along with her regular exercise classes.   The group will meet on Sundays from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM and will include an exercise component, starting January 8.

To participate in the program, individuals must register on the Transformation Nation website (see below) and will be required to get a free assessment of their weight and BMI at any local Weight Watchers location between January 2 and January 9.

Health Is Wealth Morning Walk

Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM
We take a brisk 30 minute walk through the beautiful scenic town of Princeton. The walk starts from the corner of John and Maclean Streets, and then we proceed up to the YMCA pool desk to see if any Y members want to join us. This walk leaves you feeling invigorated and ready to handle whatever the day brings!

Princeton Living Well "Points A Plenty" 3 Mile Walk

Saturdays through October 29
Olivia's Wellness Connection hosts the walks. We meet in front of the Princeton Public Library. Each PLW member receives 3000 points for the walk. The route is Witherspoon St. to Nassau St. to Harrison St. through Valley Road, back up Witherspoon St. ending up at the Library where we started. Afterwards we enjoy a healthy snack together.  "You walk at your own pace. I'm encouraging families to join us.  Bring the stroller, the husband, friends, and anyone you can think of!" 
Princeton Living Well members receive 1000 points for each wellness workshop attended and 500 points for every exercise class taken with Gail!

Gail believes deeply that "your health is your wealth" and wants to work with you to find your path to a healthy lifestyle.
