Our Mission
The Princeton Family YMCA is a charitable, not-for-profit community organization dedicated to enriching the spirit, mind and body and improving the quality of life. We create and deliver values-based programs that draw their inspiration from our Judeo-Christian heritage. We serve people of all ages, races and creeds, with an emphasis on families and youth.
In 2008, the Princeton Family YMCA celebrates 100 years of community service!

The Princeton Family YMCA has a long, proud tradition. What began in 1908 at Princeton University, under the direction of a student YMCA, as the "Town Club" for boys under the age of 16 has become a multi-faceted community organization now known as the Princeton Family YMCA. For 100 years, the YMCA has been an important service resource for the Princeton area, bringing together people of different cultures, religions, and ethnic origins in ways that underscore the YMCA's core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. The pride of this tradition is reflected in our staff, our programs and our commitment to the Princeton community.
